Gladys

Keeping Girls in School

Our Girls’ Education program has helped Gladys to stay in school. Girls her age face many obstacles in completing their education. They are expected to help at home, to collect water, to find firewood. Once the girls get their period they miss even more school days, as they don’t have sanitary pads. Unfortunately, most girls only reach 3rd of 4th grade.
